Eliezer Shein, Business Development
Eliezer Shein graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, Calif. USA where he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences in 1971.
He has extensive experience in the industry including design, development, manufacturing and marketing. Between the years 1974 and 2012 he worked at Rafael where he was involved in the design and development in the area of electronics and systems including digital equipment, RF Systems, microwave communications, data communications and telecommunications including computer networking and VLSI design of systems on chips.
During the years 1985-1998 Mr. Shein was involved in the establishment of two startups in the field of Microwave and Digital Communications Systems and Automatic Autonomous Intelligent Cruise Control system used by vehicles to increase driver safety and comfort.
During the years 2000-2012 Mr. Shein was heading the Marketing and Business Development of Rafael's – Missile Division HQTR.
In 2013 Mr. Shein joined SNI – Samuel Neaman Institute for National Policy at the Technion as a researcher in the field of Science, Engineering, Technology and Innovation (SETI). His most recent work was in analyzing and describing the ICT sector in Israel, analysis of the Metrology Industry in Israel which manufacture equipment for the semiconductor industry and analyzing Israel Pharmaceutical Industry.
During the years 2015-2016 Mr. Shein was involved in analyzing the Medical Device Market. This work was done as part of a study about the Life Science Park in Haifa. During that period Mr. Shein was involved in the T2MED course at the Technion's Rappaport Faculty of Medicine. The course was given to young entrepreneurs and covered to process of developing Medical Equipment and Devices.

Mr. Shein is also involved in mentoring new startups in the fields of Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Unique Sensors for Disease Diagnosis and Health IT projects.
